"Such a comfortable stay for events in Sacramento. Have been able to enjoy this place during a wrestling event and concert. The pool and hot tub is great, they have gym and laundry for accessible amenities! Not to mention the continental breakfast for the morning ALWAYS satisfies. Appreciate the staff from the front desk to house keeping for making our stay great!"

"The room was excellent, but as a disabled person I’m not sure it was fully an ADA room. Also, I’m not a fan or carpet when being in my chair, but if that’s the only thing deterring me from booking a room, I can live. Other than the above mention, everything else was a 10 out of 10."

"The housekeeping was awful. There was a noticeable stain on the duvet cover and hair on top and in the sheets. Hair was also found in the shower stall. Troy was very helpful in immediately moving us to another room. That shower also had hair in it. I used the shower hand held and rinsed it out. The brown spider in the bathroom took me over. I spoke with Ryan at the desk and was told he refunded the stay. I have no confirmation or receipt of it. I will be calling them about it. "

"Wasp everywhere in the grass and humongous roaches literally humongous roaches everywhere outside luckily only two found in room... there was a provided best western plastic bag in room i put soiled clothes in to shake out at home to make sure no unwanted roaches made it back The staff was BEYOND helpful super nice people, they accommodated an error on my part by third-party booking i would definitely stay here again just due to customer service front desk 10/10"

"How lucky to stay in an 1860’s private home from the “Weinstock Department Store” family on a tree lined street near the capitol, midtown, very safe and 100% walkable. This property is also a wedding venue. Check-in was easy and there was a gal manning the front desk when we arrived at 3pm. Our room 103 was on the reception level near the front desk, snack and eating room with, tables, ice, vending machine, keruig and microwave. "This was a business trip layover. I have stayed here before and decide must give kudos to the amazing staff. Front desk, Julia at the bar… everyone was amazing. Internet was perfect, food and drinks accessible and I even was granted a late check out. It all felt easy. I was able to conduct my business within a space of calm. Love it here! Perfect for staycations as well."

"The A/C in the room had very low output, and the elevator was out of order for one of my two days stay. A security had to carry my trunk of goods I needed for the day and he kept walking away for me with my belongings. Once we got on the ground floor, I had to stop him from walking away from me again then just told him to stop and put it down for which he was hesitant to do so. I told him it had wheels and I could take over."
