"On arrival the check-in process was straightforward. My room was ready before 3pm, but I soon discovered that the ac wasn’t working. The reception staff were very helpful, they explained that there had been a power cut earlier in the day, which may have been the reason why it wasn’t working, however, within half an hour of reporting it, the ac was working working again. I was disappointed that there was no fridge in my room, and minimal coffee packets. It was a lot of money to pay for one night without these facilities."

"Rooms have clearly been refurbished along with the rest of the property. They’re finished to a good standard. The doors/rooms could have slightly better noise insulation, as can hear the corridor quite clearly. They’ve supposedly refurbished the spa and gym, even if it’s not clear on their website that it’s there. We didn’t end up using because of that. Overall, nice place, would stay again."

"Situated on the ground floor during a heatwave wasn’t great. We were left wondering if all the rooms in the hotel were full and perhaps they could have located us in a room with a window that opened. The young man who served us for the evening meal was very attentive and very polite which was nice to see. Not so the staff at breakfast."
