Great place to stay in Cheltenham. Cozy rooms, friendly staff and in an area which is walkable to shops and dining. Would definitely recommend to stay here.

Great hotel, super location and the bar area was superb. Some renovations going on while we were there, no warning of that which would have been nice , or a few free drinks to compensate as we have had at other places but still very good and recommended.

The hotel, restaurant and bars were lovely. The Terrace is currently undergoing refurbishment. I’m sure it’ll be great once it’s finished. The builders stopped working about 5.30/6ish so it didn’t spoil our experience of staying at 131

Fantastic hotel and restaurants very friendly and helpful staff My only suggestion is to remove any and all carpets from the rooms I found my room musty and damp because of the carpets and rainy weather Other than that excellent place to stay

Nice hotel and excellent location. Unfortunately as I was getting ready for bed I noticed an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, on further inspection there was a build up of sick in the sink from the previous occupants. I managed to clear most of it away but it made us feel quite unwell and had us questioning overall cleanliness.

Fab place to stay in Cheltenham if you want to be in the centre of things. Very friendly staff, lovely rooms with high quality fixtures eg Dyson fans and hairdryers and Bang and Olufsen TV and a nice mini bar selection.

Our stay was amazing from start to finish, the hotel, restaurants, bars and rooms are beautiful. The food is absolutely incredible, the service was also brilliant. Great vibes in the evening. The music can be quite loud into the evening on a saturday so I would recommend asking for a quieter room. Great stay, thank you for having us.

This was a beautiful hotel and our room was wonderful. The shower and metal bathtub in the room were wonderful. Loved the switches by the bed to control lights. Excellent breakfast on terrace restaurant as well. Best hotel experience of my life.

We had a lovely stay at 131. The room was fantastic, the bed comfortable, the location perfect and the staff were very helpful. Highly recommended!

Thumping music from the outside bar went on until after 2am - and this was in the ‘quiet’ room we asked to be moved to when the room we were initially allocated was even nearer the music. I’m baffled that any hotelier would invite that level of noise onto their property week after week given it’s so disruptive to guests. The only way to get to the bathroom from our bedroom was down an incredibly steep spiral staircase - I’ve had a room like it (and not in a good way) Mind blown by the poor customer service and generally terrible experience we had.
