The Go Fish Education Center is an exciting destination for the whole family. Join Georgia’s 1.2 million anglers on a journey through the state’s fascinating freshwater networks.

Enter the education center and begin exploring its displays. Spot trout and largemouth bass in the freshwater aquariums and learn about underwater habitats, such as pristine mountain streams or black-water swamps. Find out where fish like to live and breed and discover what they like to eat. Learn about the values of nature conservation and why freshwater ecosystems are vital to life.

Continue to the wildlife enclosures, where you can see alligators and turtles. Visit the indoor and outdoor hatcheries and learn about a fish’s life cycle. Gather a few tips and tricks on the interactive fishing and boating simulators and check out the interactive shooting room.

Bring kids for the regular education programs and talks held at the Go Fish Education Center. The site features plenty for adults to experience too. The Go Fish Education Center is located 2.5 miles (4 kilometers) south of downtown Perry. Pay the admission fee, which is discounted for children and seniors. The center is open Friday through Sunday year-round. In summer, visit the center between Wednesday and Sunday. The center is a short distance from the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter.
