"I booked/was charged for a premium/superior ocean view king bed room, but my view was the backside of the hotel restaurant, restaurant garbage, and the facility golf cart with a ladder and tools scattered about. At best, I would call the first level rooms in the lower 100s, a partial ocean view and would have expected them to be priced as such. The room smelled like wet dog, the carpet/flooring was damp by the air conditioner, the shower had mold/mildew along the corners, the walls need to be repainted as there are black scuff marks in various areas, and pest control needs to be considered since we had a variety of bugs and spiders that we chased out of our room each day of our stay.
On a positive note, the staff was friendly and they do offer free bike rental for 2hrs each day. I expected a better experience from a property marketed as a “resort” so I would not recommend this property to others nor do I plan to stay here for any future trips. "
