"The Dunlin was an amazing stay (3 nights was perfect). Things that stood out were 1) how friendly and helpful the staff were 2) the decor and overall feel of the place 3) the pool and amenities 4) the spa - great services at reasonable prices 5) the restaurants - food was incredible and many ingredients were from nearby farms, they were very accommodating to our 16-month old too. Overall, it was a great place to spend a few days relaxing away from our busy lives with our little family."

"The only negative i have to say is the afternoon shift female at the desk wouldn't give me time of day or acknowledge i was standing there. She seamed more interested in talking to her co-worker who was on the way out or another female."

"I did read reviews on this property after I made the reservation and still decided to keep it. The property is dated and not well kept. I had read that the elevators did not work at times, but we had no issue with that during our stay. The property does have an amazing location as the beach was spectactular and not crowded during our stay which was mid May. The pool area is small, but the beach made up for it. We did not eat at any of the restaurants so I cannot comment on this. The coffee...

"Property was disappointing from the start. It was not as nice as I expected. Kind of rundown old motel. Several outlets not working. Renovations poorly done. Pool was dirty and had bugs in it. Pool water caused my kids to get a rash which made us have to leave early. Saw little black bugs in the room too. Possibly fleas or termites. Wasps in the ceiling of the 2nd floor walkway. Overall terrible experience. "

"The hotel itself was beautiful. The room were stayed in on our second visit was not half as nice as the first room er stayed in a couple of months ago. You should offer free breakfast. To pay for something that is limited is poor service. There was also no streaming for Netflix."

" The was great nice view and small patio parked inside . asked about leaving my golf clubs in the car was told they would be safe no problems there . Great shuttle service to down town we had A drop off spot and called to be picked up . breakfast was good and they had coffee until 11 am . Great location to get to folly beach and Patriot point"

"The hotel itself was nice enough, but we complained to the front desk that housekeeping never came during our stay and they informed us it was by request only. So we requested housekeeping come by and they still never did. Other than that it was alright, and it was very quiet. Breakfast was nice."

"We had to move rooms twice. The air in the first didn’t work in one of the bedrooms. It didn’t work at all in the second for either bedroom. In the first room the kitchen cabinets were so dirty on the fronts. In the second the smoke detector was hanging out of the ceiling by a wire. All 3 tubs had clearly been painted and were peeling and stained and even had sandy feeling stuff all over the bottom of one. Stains on the carpet, gross looking showers, and generally just gave an icky vibe. All the...
