"Very nice location with views overlooking the town on one side and the sea on the other. It was convenient having the car close to our room. We swam in the private beach, it was nice being away from everyone. The elevator makes getting to town/beach fast and easy. I didn’t realize the private beach however is an added cost. It is €45 per person, per day. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it."

"Blu hotel was a gem. We booked our trip a bit late for summer on the coast and it was nice to find such a cute place near the beach. The owners were very helpful and the rooms were very clean with great AC. The garden was a lovely break from the heat with an excellent wine selection. Only wish access to the garden was allowed past 7:30pm as it closes when the owners leave for the night. Lavagna had great beaches and restaurants for us for our short stay."

"The staff were very kind, professional, and welcoming. The breakfast was of good quality, and the overall standard of the property is good. However, I found that the rooms were not well soundproofed. During the night, I could clearly hear a couple in the room above arguing, as well as the guests next door every time they used the bathroom, which made it difficult to rest. While I appreciated the quality of the service, I believe the room rate is way higher than what the property's facilities...

"We stayed 4 nights at hotel vesuvio and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rooms were clean and very well air conditioned. The staff were very kind and even called a taxi for us one night when we were going to dinner on the outskirts of Rapallo (thanks Sophie). We also really liked the free breakfast they provide every morning. I hope we make it back to Rapallo one day and I would definitely stay at hotel vesuvio again!"
