"Everything was great and the guy at the counter was excellent and friendly when we checked in however we had an issue with cancelling a booking 5 minutes after we made it initially and the lady I spoke with at that tone was inflexible and rude, Expedia handled the situation but it was disappointing."

"Do not stay here! It was disgusting, I don’t know how anyone can leave a good review. The floors were so dirty it made my feet black, tub/shower looked like it had never been cleaned. The staff were all just hanging out with friends and super awkward checkin. This place was horrid and for the price was crazy, if I had an option I would have left right away."

"There is no staff on property, not a big deal. The room was super nice. I did however find a dirty facecloth hanging in the shower curtain. I only stayed one night so I just set it aside. Other than that, room was amazing, clean, smelled great. Soft sheets. Was what I needed for one night. Great price as well."

"My family and I were in Maine for a long weekend. We have stayed here before and had good luck. Our room and bathroom were clean and the water was hot for showers. The only thing we didn’t like was that we were put at the end of the hallway right across from the elevator so we heard the elevator all night. "Room wasn't all that clean, pool closed, when showering water smelt, shower handles broken, hard to turn on and off water, you burned yourself, one staff incredibly rude about my kids getting waters for all of us i paid for 3 nights there was four of us 1 water per person so i wasnt able to get a water ...they were getting it for me and my other child. "I was a solo traveler, here for a few days, and I was glad when I arrived to such a clean, tidy room. I was pleased with the control of room temperature I had and how there was always someone to talk to at the front desk. The only odd thing was my room had shampoo and bath soap but no regular hand soap to use at the sink. I would love to stay here again."

"Great location, lots of history and character, and we enjoyed our stay overall. We had a room in the carriage house, and had a few issues with the TV not working, and the upstairs neighbor arriving and making plenty of noise at 1-2am, but the beds are comfy and the restaurant is excellent!"
