"The hotel location is excellent- in the old port close to Chateau Frontenac. There is no parking- I ended up at an indoor garage about 1km away. When I first arrived I wasn’t sure what to think.. it’s dark and old upon entering. The room was pleasant- in need of some updates? Yes. But it was clean, basic, a view of Chateau, bed clean and comfortable and it was very quiet. I only spent 1 night - no complaints. My rate did not include breakfast. (The room did not look like the pic on Expedia-no stone exposed wall- but I appreciated the hardwood floors)."

"This vintage hotel is so lovely. Minutes walk to the St Lawrence River and next door to the beautiful Chateau Frontenac. The perfect location and close to shops and restaurants in the beautiful Old Quebec. Check in was easy and our room was beautiful. The only aesthetic issue is the tiles in the shower need repair and looked like they were falling apart. Also the shower curtain is stained with soap scum. Otherwise this is a beautiful place to stay with a very comfortable bed. Will definitely stay again."

"I enjoyed my peaceful stay! It was right in front of a park & also steps away from the Dufferin Terrace. It was safe at night for a female solo traveller like me & very enjoyable in the morning if you’d like a short walk & exercise. The room was big enough for me & the AC was a very nice touch during a hot summer trip. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m ever coming back to Quebec City."
