"Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants"

"Am giving yhis a very low rateing of 2 stars. I payed £130 for a room breakfast and use of pool. Put on arrival i got told pool and sauna is not included to which i had tp pay exter £10 each. The pool and the spa was cold The steam room stayed on for 5min then went off for 10min as it was on a timer we then had to pay extra for breakfast This is not clealy showing on there site as you pay for just room only. when i booked myself in at the desk the afternoon staff at the desk were very helpful....

"A perfect stay and will definitely be back. Easy check in, the rooms, 1 and 2, were fantastic and great for the dogs. The facilities in the room were everything we needed. "Incredible location close to everything, friendly staff, good value. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with nice views, lots of amenities including kettle, full bath. Llangollen is a beautiful, friendly town with local shops/no franchises. There are wonderful walks along canals to waterfalls, deserted abbeys. "

"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. Kitchen is on lowest floor. Entry and dining and parlor are on street level, and there is no bathroom on that floor. So it’s a trek from kitchen to loo. The top floor...

"The bathroom had mold. The ceiling tiles are broken. The room really needs a refurb. The main door is broken and sometimes doesn't open or opens very slowly. I've stayed at much better maintained premier inns in the past so this was a huge disappointment."
