"Very disappointing experience – serious complaint
My stay at the Ambassador Hotel in Malta started with a very unpleasant experience. A female staff member tried to charge me in a way that I believed was inappropriate, so I contacted Expedia’s hotline to report the situation. Expedia took my complaint seriously and helped me get a better room, which I appreciated.
Afterwards, the staff member apologised to me and asked me to withdraw my complaint, saying that her boss would “kill her” if I did...
"A lovely stay - ataff we’re all so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Particular mention to Angela and Ev…. in restaurant who almost had our preferred coffees waiting for us on arrival. Food all a very good standard too. Pool area lovely and plenty of poolside service too. A very quiet area and a bit of a way to Valetta but around €15-18 in a Bolt."
