However, i have to say if you call the hotel and want anything - like a receipt, credit for staying, or to just check whether they found something you might have left behind, finding an actual human to talk to might be impossible. Marriott is fine as long as you are on premises - after that its all next to impossible to get assistance. "This hotel was closed for 45 days when we arrived, doors with chains and a statement that Marriot had broken its contract. Hotels didn't know, didn't tell us beforehand. Awful experience to find a new place to stay late at night. I am waiting apologies and refund."

"スタッフの対応は守衛さんも含め皆さん良かったです。 チェックインからチェックアウトまで全て英語でやり取りしたので日本語が利用できるかはわかりませんでした。ただ、宿泊客は日本人が多かったです。 客室のテレビでは、日テレの過去の番組を放送している「NIPPON TV」と「NHKワールド」が視聴できます。個人的には「NHKワールド・プレミアム」が見られなかったのが少し残念でした。 アメリカのホテルでは普通のようですが、ハミガキが設置されていないので自分で用意する必要があります。 ホテルのすぐ裏に「日本村プラザ」があり、飲食料の調達がしやすいこと、また地下鉄のメトロ・リトルトーキョー駅に近く移動にも便利な点がとても良かったです。"

"Everyone I encountered in the hotel check-in, valet, coffee shop and poolside staff was very kind and welcoming. Room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was fabulous and the restaurant severed very good food."

"Staff was great. The room is tiny. It should be described as a cell. Dimly lit. No real desk. Really just a bed and buffet with a coffee maker. The bathroom is tiny. The room itself is clean. The restaurant quite good. You could not have a video meeting in any comfortable way in the room or work in any reasonable way. They might suggest a common area, which is nice, but noisy. This is a good stop for a solo traveler that doesn’t plan to spend any time at the hotel. One of the elevators was out;...

"First off, it's an amazingly beautiful historic hotel in the heart of downtown L.A. They don't build hotels like this anymore, other than maybe the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City 25 years ago (which is an anomaly because the owner at the time, Earl Holding, built it as a monument to himself with zero regard for a true R.O.I.—Big Oil money plays by different rules).
