"No ideas Why this hotel can get high reviews. We came here for a birthday trip. But, i wanna say i made a wrong decision. I should spend a little more and fly to Cancun instead. "Driving up to the property there was no Quality Inn sign - or temporary sign. I assumed they had just purchased a Super 8. When I arrived just before midnight they told me that the room I’d purchased was sold out and then tried to upsell me. I refused and they finally gave in. "Room had a strong odor. Smelled like smoke but it’s a nonsmoking room. No hot water both days. Couldn’t wait to get home to shower. Everyone complained about it so I didn’t want to say anything. Floor was peeling up all over. We stay a few times a year and it’s been declining. But this was unacceptable. Probably the last time we stay there. The place next door is a lot cheaper in price. If I’m choosing crap I will choose the cheaper one."
