"A lovely family hotel in a beautiful provencal landscape"

"Our first room had mold issues that they kindly tried to clean, but the next morning when the water was shut off in the building (due to the city) we decided to leave. After speaking with the owner by phone, he moved us to another building and a lovely, clean room. We stayed 3 more nights and it was lovely. Both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good, and the beautiful surroundings were very much enjoyed. "

"Excellent location for visiting the famous attractions. Just a few blocks from palais des papes. Super clean room. Basic furnishings but great value for the price. The only significant downside is that parking is difficult. You will probably need to park in a lot and walk multiple blocks to reach the hotel."

"The room was very clean, but the bathroom was very outdated. The shape of the tub made it difficult to shower and the toilet was cramped in between two walls."

"This is a really special hotel suffering from under-investment. The staff I met—from the front desk, to housekeeping, and the bar/restaurant—were all working hard. But there were never enough of them to make the place run smoothly. The beautiful property (ok, except the “modern wing,” where rooms are more akin to SROs) just isn’t being maintained lovingly. From a clogged shower drain, knicked up furniture, and broken glass louvered walls, to an inability to serve room service while hosting an...

"The hosts upgraded us from a room to an apartment—it was a complimentary upgrade which allowed us to prepare our own breakfast and dinner with food from nearby markets. They gave us wonderful advice on day trips from the property and took a genuine interest in our day trips and lives. We will stay here again if we come back to Avignon. If I knew they had a heated swimming pool and hot tub I would have brought a bathing suit."

"Poor breakfast. Too crowded .serving area too small. No access to get the food or drinks. Lack of food.. ran out ..because not enough availability to meet demand. Did not help because people made take out. Staff poor. Room on roof lovely. Clean . Great shower No coffee. Would recommend only if you don't have breakfast"

"The garden is truly beautiful! Also, the property is in an excellent location from which to explore the city. The Hotel Proprietors were very lovely. After our train was delayed five hours, and we arrived just before midnight, they had still stayed up to let us in and help us to our room. Very kind!"
