"I have to say there is nothing I didn't like about my 4-day stay there. The place was spotless staff was excellent and it was super quiet. I've never been in a hotel where there hasn't been noise. It was wonderful. It was a great stay. Thank you very much. Oh and the breakfast was to die for."

"The breakfast was good, several choices from eggs, waffles, muffins, bagels to healthier choices like oatmeal, yogurt, and fruit. The dining area is fairly large so we didn't wait for seating. Parking was easy and we were able to park around back and enter closer to our room. "

There is a shopping center just across the street, were you to need any coffee, food, or other items. I would definitely recommend to others staying in the area!"

"We have stayed here many times after getting married here in 2020. The splash pad and pool is perfect for our 2 young children. This last stay was probably our least favorite stay. The hotel is under major renovations which we didn't know about until we arrived. During our stay there was a dryer lint fire that filled the hotel with heavy smoke. my family and I were napping on the 4th floor where the smoke detectors failed to sound. We only got out of the building cause I awoke to the smell of smoke. Checked the hallway and saw the emergency lights flashing but no alarm sounding. Called the front desk no answer then looked outside to find several fire trucks and first responders. I woke up my family and we ran down the stairs as the fire fighters were running up them. very scary to stay somewhere that had malfunctioning fire alarms especially somewhere we love to return to. If the fire had not been contained we could have had a very serious situation. Will never stay anywhere unless we are on the 1st floor after this experience."

"I made our reservation months in advance on Expedia for our trip to the Boston Marathon. I confirmed our reservation twice the week before, including less than 24 hrs before our arrival. I sent a message to the hotel that we would be arriving late, and received confirmation asking if I would like to upgrade my room. Despite all of this, when we arrived at Sonesta Braintree, we were informed that the hotel was overbooked and our reservation would not be honored. When I asked the front desk attendant what support she could give, she mentioned that my money would be immediately refunded and then disappeared behind a locked door. No other assistance was offered. I called Expedia for help, and they mentioned that they were unable to contact anyone at the hotel. Then four police cars pulled up in the parking lot, officers running into the building. I figured maybe it was a good thing we weren't staying at Sonesta. Sometime after midnight, we eventually found availability at another hotel a few miles away. It took four phone calls to Expedia to get my full refund from Sonesta (I was charged for the full stay--five nights)."
