"Our stay was fine, clean room, comfortable bed but the place was really crowded so when we went down to breakfast at 8:30 there was not much food left, I ended up having potatoes and the last container of yogurt. I know they were busy but I didn't see one person replenishing the food. When we went down on Monday it was much better so I would say stay during the week not the weekend. Also, there is a lot of construction going on around the hotel and it starts very early in the morning."

"My room was very clean. The king size bed was super comfortable. The floors are not covered in carpet so it was very easy to hear the people above me moving around their room, but that would be my only negative comment. The breakfast area was well stocked each morning & the staff taking care of it was very sweet & kind. I'll keep this place in mind for my next trip back to this area."

"The hotel was easy to find and ideally located for downtown Portsmouth. I was frustrated by how expensive the valet parking was, and the lack of self parking options, considering the hotel had its own parking lot. The lobby and check-in process was nice, very clean and orderly. Sadly our room was less than relaxing. I thought having a corner room would be quieter but the floors are poorly insulated, and the stairwell door next to ours slammed very loudly. Worst of all the mattress, was an older spring style, with subpar linens and pillows. Definitely one of the worst nights of sleep I've had at a Hilton property, ever. The bathroom was spacious but there were spots of mold in the shower, and a leak in the door that left water all over floor. With at least 5 other similar 3/4 star hotels within a 2 block radius, I'll definitely try somewhere else next time we're in town. "

"Stayed at this property many times. Rooms and halls were newly renovated, modern and clean. Breakfast was excellent. Lounge/bar is a great benefit too. Nice large indoor pool too."

"I would strongly caution against staying at this hotel. The common areas are not clean; perhaps the staff should spend more time vacuuming and cleaning stains off the walls, rather than posting endless laminated signs throughout the hotel (lobby, elevator, hallways) about its rules and regulation – very aggressive. At night, our toilet began to run and wouldn't stop all night. The blinds in the room were broken and could not be pulled down, therefore letting a flood of light in at sunrise. Also, it is very, very noisy outside the hotel, since another housing complex abuts the hotel; younger people were up all night yelling and partying, making sleep difficult. I wouldn't normally write such a poor review, but upon check-out, I voiced my concerns and was told a manager would have to get back to me. No one did. I then wrote two emails, but no one replied to either. Despite its convenient UNH location, which was great, the cons of the hotel far outweigh the pros."
