"The hotel-the lobby, the elevators, the hallways and our room were dirty. We had to "mop" our floor with a towel and they were black when we were done. It seemed like nothing was being cleaned. Then our room was in the middle of a remodel or something because we did not have a countertop in the space outside the bathroom. There was just a hard plastic covering the hole for us to use. Also, the plugs in the bathroom kept tripping the breaker so you could not use them. Also, the safety card on...

"My wife found the hotel charming. It felt like an old style hotel. No elevator (I was aware of this beforehand.) Our room had a private bathroom (down the hall, which I also knew was possible.) the maids didn't clean our room or bathroom until we complained. The rest of the staff was quite helpful. Buses run downtown on Congress St. (although we usually took an Uber.) Breakfast was buffet Euro. This review is the average on mine and my wife's."
