"We stayed at the Sunbird Lodge for 3 nights, and it was very peaceful and quiet. It had two twin beds, a set of bunk beds, small kitchenette, television, air conditioning, desk and chair, as well as outdoor patio. The pool was clean and extremely warm, but refreshing. "Staying with the sisters who run the property and the other staff became increasingly pleasant with every passing day. Plus, I was more than comfortable in my room, where they don't skimp on pillows for those of us who like to sit up in bed to work. There's no generator on the premises for the load-shedding but that's normal for comparable properties. Just stay atune to the schedule is what I learned in southern Africa."

"The facilities are in excellent condition, the staff is lovely, the breakfast is very good, and it's not far from the Kruger gate and shops. "The location is very convenient to the Crocodile Bridge entrance of Kruger National Park. It is a great value especially considering the property is very well maintained, has air conditioning (helpful during summer), and lovely gardening. It is located in a quiet and upscale section of town on a small ridge, but very convenient shopping and restaurants. If I'm ever back in the area, I hope to stay there again."
