"I have never used hotel.com before so I gave it a try took a break from Expedia it was a last minute trip but we were excited. I booked a room with 2 beds because my son was coming down on another flight. We get to New Orleans and called the hotel to see if they offered shuttle this started my horrible experience with this trip the person who answered was very short with me and seemed annoyed. We get to the hotel and the room I booked was given away and we got another room with a single bed to fridge no microwave the air conditioning was not working. Maintenance came at 5am to replace the unit this gentleman was very nice we are not blaming him but this was a horrible experience. It appeared that they had several events going on at once and needed the beds so they took it upon themselves to downsize our room and then apologize for doing so1. So now where are we all sleeping. There is a clear reason for choosing a room with 2 beds and the amenities that came with said room. Also my total for this room should have been 422.09 taxes included and that was not my total.. my itinerary #72074338193505 May 15-17 . After switching my room I was then told the hotel was sold out and that the website should have been shut down and that I need to reach out to the site I booked with. Based on this experience I will never use that hotel again and I will not book thru this website. Thank you for your time."
