"Beautiful property. Staff seems to shy away from the full history of the building but that’s ok. The pool and gym were under construction so that was a bummer. Also, the only open air space beside the pool was the courtyard. It’s only accessible to people who have courtyard rooms. It would’ve been helpful to know that information beforehand. I had a “hot tub” room. It was visibly dirty and unattractive. I take responsibility for that since I didn’t fully understand what it meant to stay at a historical property. You can’t open the windows and the a/c was weak. Welcome to NOLA,right? lol The housekeeper skipped my room a few times and only changed the linens when she did visit. No vacuuming or general cleaning. Again, I’ll take that as my fault for expecting it. The location was awesome though. In the middle of everything! "

"The hotel is ideal if you prefer to stay clear from the quarters which is easily accessible by walking or the street cars. The noise level on the 2nd floor is high. Pur room was clean and the staff was courteous. The elevators could definitely use a paint job and some WD40"
