"We were given a room with a view/balcony, which was more than we booked, which was so kind of the hotel. The view from the balcony overlooking the river, the large bed, the bath and the generously restocked bathroom and tea tray was brilliant.
The hotel is a family owned concern and this comes through repeatedly with the friendliness and warmth of all staff - nothing is too much trouble.
The food both at breakfast and dinner was beyond good.
The stay made us very happy 😁."

"Wonderful stay, aad we only got to stay for one night. Rooms beautifully clean, loads of space for a family. Staff were lovely especially the ladies who did the breakfast in the mornings. Will return in the summer "
