"Carlton Hotel Lyon is a lovely, renovated old hotel in the Presquile area of Lyon. It is convenient to all you want to see in Lyon. It is also air-conditioned. Our room was comfortable with a large, modern bathroom. Breakfast was abundant. The staff members were very helpful and speak excellent English. They arranged a car to the airport (which is far out of town) for an early morning flight. If we are ever back in Lyon, we would definitely stay at the Carlton again."

"Very good stay overall. The staff were warm and welcoming, and Jordon at reception was especially helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a convenient location, very close to the metro station, which made getting around easy. The room was also clean and comfortable. Would happily stay here again."

"Great historic building, with superb public transport options within metres. Rooms are a good size, and comfortable. Good modern bathroom an suite. An excellent breakfast buffet, with lots of choice. We also used the restaurant, which offered good options at reasonable prices. All the staff we mer, were friendly, bright, and helpful."

"Our room was great, with a separate sitting/kitchen area so we could put our baby to sleep and still spend time talking. We had an air-conditioned room and could not imagine having a room without during the heatwave in Lyon. They had the air con running for us and the crib already set up before we got there which was amazing. My only complaint is the shower, no matter how I had the shower curtain positioned, water covered the floors of the bathroom."

"Excellent ! Nous avons passé une nuit d’étape dans ce très bel hôtel pour prendre l’avion le lendemain, c’est devenu rare en France dans cette gamme. Tout est au rdv pour être qualifié excellent : confort, propreté, calme, accueil, prestations. Je recommande fortement ! Rien à redire ! Il faut être véhiculé pour y venir. (Un seul bémol c’est la moquette qui fait éternuer les personnes soumises aux allergies)"
