"The people and place were welcoming and helpful. From dealing with a medical emergency to finding a last minute ride to the airport, our hosts could not have been more lovely. They accommodated us more then enough and treated us like family/close friends. We loved our down time at the villa in the swimming pool and on the amazing verandas, and strolling the streets of the village throughout the day was peaceful and picturesque. Top Greece Hotel Reviews

The Stanley

10/10 Excellent

"Within walking distance of the Plaka/Acropolis but out of the crazy crowds, this hotel is ideally situated for business or holiday travels."

Novotel Athenes

8/10 Good

"The highlight was a pool on the roof, overlooking the acropolis. Being on the roof, it wasn't very deep and was fairly small, so with quite a lot of hotel guests using it, there wasn't really room for a proper swim, but it was great for cooling off. We were delighted to see there was a shuttle-bus into the city centre, but it didn't go very regularly and got filled up so we had to walk. The breakfast choice was phenomenal - I could have stayed there all day - I couldn't even decide what to drink, let alone what to eat - but the following day, when I checked out before breakfast, all that was available was dry cake, crumbly biscuits and sachet coffee - a bit of an anticlimax for an otherwise good stay."

Holiday Inn Athens Attica Av. Airport West by IHG

8/10 Good

"The main reason we stayed there was the price. It was very respectable for what we needed. We landed in Athens in an evening and our flight was the next morning so it did the job. It had free shuttle service but only runs ones in an hour we had to wait almost an hour. It is very prompt in the morning because you make a reservation what time you need to leave to the airport the night before. So overall out recommended."

Peninsula Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

8/10 Good

"Staff were great, everything was clean, food was great. I only have 2 complaints really, 1. Between meals the snack bar didnt have much to eat so if you missed a meal even by a small bit you were stuck til the next meal. 2. The entertainment wasnt great. It felt like the activity people had a budget of like 0 bucks and mostly just played music. Would be nice to have more to do at the resort."
