Hotel is ideally situated for the beach and backs onto new town and is a short walking distance to old town. Food/restaurant did not cater well for gluten free with limited hot food options available and ‘dish’ labels/signs did not include info to let guests know what the GF options were; which meant the Chef had to come out of the kitchen and go through what the options were which seemed very inefficient. Majority of staff were friendly and hospitable however Andromachi on reception could do with some additional customer service training as she was not only rude to us, we witnessed her poor attitude to other guests as well during our stay. There is significant construction works going on opposite the hotel until end of summer 2026 which we were not advised about upon booking and the noise was disruptive during the day particularly if you like to go to the beach.

My first impression was a comfortable hotel with friendly and professional staff and I want disappointed. The hotel and facilities were clean and comfortable and I was able to fully relax during my stay. The food was prepared to a high standard and the restaurant staff first rate I am already looking forward to returning next year

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, they’re having to ask the staff to get a glass of orange juice seemed ridiculous. Why not just put it out with the rest of the buffet? Our rooms were on the sixth floor, one of us had a great room and the other had a much smaller room with significantly less storage. This was not fair given that we both paid the same. We both had a bad smell in the room (drainage) and although we raised the complaint we are not sure if anything effective was done because the smell persisted and we had to keep the patio doors open when we were in to make it bearable. We both experienced no hot water around 50% of the time. This could be because our rooms were up on the sixth floor We enjoyed the pool, but you had to be there within five minutes of opening because all the sunbeds would be gone. The gym was basic, a little tired and in a windowless room downstairs – not ideal with limited ventilation so did not use it as we had hoped to. The hotel lists Pilates and yoga as being offered when we enquired about this we were told that that was not the case. There is a massive building site opposite hotel with work going on seven days a week from early till late. This should definitely have been made clear to us when booking because it meant that sitting out on the balcony was not always a pleasant experience. Overall, we did enjoy our stay at this hotel but unfortunately the facilities and some of the maintenance did not

Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel was aber Personal und die Lage ausgleichen. Tatsache waren wir mit unserem 1 jährigen Baby dort und da würden wir das Hotel nicht uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Viele Kleinigkeiten die uns früher nie gestört oder aufgefallen wären sind mit Baby unpraktisch/doof. Gerade der Lärm macht den kleinen zu schaffen.Die hellhörigen Zimmer in Kombination mit der Reinigung , eine bimmelnde Glocke in 50 m Luftlinie jede Stunde und die Partys / sehr laute Musik bis 23 Uhr sind halt nicht ideal. Alles in allem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut.

4 Star is bit of a stretch but perfectly acceptable accommodation. Small pool area will get very crowded in high season although there is access to private beach, 5 minute walk. Not sure what’s going on with floors!! Barely a level one in the building 😂

The property is a little tired e.g. cracked glass in the balcony door but it is clean. The photos of the pool are a little deceptive, it is a pool but hardly a swimming pool. The hotel ad on Expedia says ‘Sun & fun on the beach’ & has photos of sunbeds on the beach. Whilst the hotel is only 3 minutes walk to the beach the Petit Palais does not offer sunbeds on the beach. The ad also states that ‘active travellers can enjoy amenities, such as fitness classes’ but there were no fitness classes .. until we pushed & we’re told we could join yoga at the Grand. Anyway, enough of the negativity. The Petit Palais has a really lovely feel about it, it’s not so big that it’s impersonal. The dining was really good, with plenty of choice, & it’s great that you can pay small additional amounts to enjoy nice wines. Most of the staff were great but we want to say a very special thank you to Nikos who went out of his way to ensure we had a great holiday. And also a mention to Dimitris at the Grand who was just altogether lovely. Would we return? Most certainly yes if the package included access to sun beds on the beach.

The hotel is well located close to the beach and within easy walking distance of the beautiful old town and historical museums etc. Be aware that the advertised yoga and Pilates takes place at the nearby Mitsis Grand, next to their outdoor pool. It is very close by, but it was enough to put me off going. Plus, I didn’t fancy doing a downward dog out in the open, in front of sunbathers. I was glad we chose half board, rather than all-inclusive. The pool area is lovely (although sunworshippers note that it doesn’t get the sun all day) but quite small and I wouldn’t have wanted to feel I had to hang about there all day to make use of the inclusive drinks and snacks. The staff were lovely and let us stay in the room until evening on our final day, because my daughter had been sick most of the week with some kind of tummy bug/food poisoning, and she still needed to be in bed most of the time. Food at breakfast and dinner was fresh and reasonably varied. Good quality for buffet style, with plenty of salads and fresh fruit.

Mitsis Petit palas ideal bir aile oteli

Reception personeli çok yardımcı ve güler yüzlü. Housekeeping çok nazik ve güler yüzlüydü. Pool bar personeli çok sinirli ve sizi dinlemiyor. Restoran personeli oldukça kuralcı ve sertler ama işlerini çok iyi yapıyorlar.

Séjour 4 jours

Séjour de 4 jours à Rhodes parfait. Hôtel impeccable. personnel très agréable et à l’écoute. Nourriture très qualitative en pension complète. (Ex, plats grecs, spécialités locales, pizza excellentes cuitent au feu de bois) Très bien placé pour découvrir la ville et la vielle ville à pied. A very nice modern hotel with awesome staff. The restaurant and pool were great. Close to the beach and stores makes it a perfect location. Cannot say anything bad about this place and would make it a stop over again the next time.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour de 8 jours au Mitsis Petit Palais. Tout d’abord, l’emplacement est IDÉAL : il est situé à 1 minute à pieds de la plage, à peine 13 minutes de la vieille Ville de Rhodes (où se situent également les bateaux pour les excursions donc très pratique !) Les chambres sont très spacieuses et confortables, un petit balcon très apprécié, un frigo avec boissons rapprovisionné chaque jour, les lits très confortables, nettoyés chaque jour donc très propre ! Un grand merci d’ailleurs au personnel des chambres qui sont très aimables. Concernant le restaurant de l’hôtel, il est super. La nourriture est variée et change chaque jour, c’est vraiment très bon, on découvre beaucoup de spécialités et des soirées à thèmes sont organisés le soir (japonais, bbq, italien, etc.). Rien à dire sur la cuisine plus que bonne ! Pour finir concernant les autre espaces communs, je n’ai encore une fois rien à dire. La piscine est super, avec un petit bassin bien orienté soleil qui est très agréable. Le bar de la piscine et du hall sont top, avec beaucoup d’endroits pour se poser. Un immense merci à Wiktor au restaurant et bar, à Zara à l’accueil du restaurant, à Amalia à l’accueil de l’hôtel et à Michael le barman du bar piscine, pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil que nous avons particulièrement apprécié !

We really loved our 2 week stay. Customer service and staff were outstanding and food and beverage offer was excellent and wide ranging. Puts other hotels to shame. It will be hard not to come back.
