"Hotel did not honor the reservation i paid for and placed a week in advance. They let a guest extend their stay instead. Initially downgraded from a King Suite w/ whirlpool to a queen dbl w/out tub and offered 20 in lobby food."

"Very unhappy with my exhausting stay. The bed was clean but the bathtub had visual mildew and mold. The guest next door heavily smoked Marijuana clouding my room. Having asthma you can imagine the nightmare this bight was. When I informed the front desk they said they cant just knock on door. (Even though legally you absolutely can) (Marijuana is still an illegal drug in NC). So, I asked to be moved but the hotel was booked up even though the website said there were rooms available. When I asked about available rooms the front desk said they has to move 2 rooms of guests to those rooms as others had complained about the smoke also. No refund was offered. While I didnt have the funds to go to another hotel, I had to indure a sleepless night, praying the smoke would not trigger an attack. I kept my phone next to me incase 911 needed to be called. I will not go to this hotel again and if choice hotels corporate does not respond to my call or email I wont be staying at Choice Hotels again. Do better. "

"Shawn, front desk staff, was friendly and very helpful! Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Also liked how close we were to stores and restaurants."

"Holes in walls. Bugs, roaches.Took a tic off myself when I woke up. People partying until 5am.Banging LOUDLY. Nobody stopped them. Drug attics SCREAMING at each other. Banging on doors, "let me the F in" to their cohorts. Broken, leaking refrigerator. No phone in room. Never going back. Obviously. "

"My stay was very brief. The bed was very good, the bathroom clean except the soap dish and the closet door difficult to open and close. Was not a big fan of the hallway decor it seemed to me to be dated and uninspired."

"The room was clean, the fridge was stocked and cold and we had complimentary champagne upon arrival. The hotel is in good condition and quiet, located on the university campus.I appreciate the quiet atmosphere at this location as we were in town for a funeral service. The staff was also friendly. We would stay here again."
