"What a wonderful experience staying at the Borland House is! With the quaint, homey feeling of the whole house, to the kindness of the staff. Your stay will absolutely be lovely. Ample towels are provided for the private, spacious bathroom. Very comfortable bedding and well appointed decorations are in the bedroom. I was in the Hummingbird Suite. "The room was cleanish. There was what I assume is soap residue on the shower curtain, a few stray hairs in the shower and I did not step on the floor barefoot. It was clean enough for what we needed but I would not book more than a few nights. There is only a mini fridge in the room and microwave in the lobby. Water pressure was good and hot. Overall cleanliness was disappointing but for the price I didn’t expect much better. The staff that I interacted with was kind. "

"The location is very convenient. I trusted the Wyndham brand, but the hotel was "sketchy" at best. It was a mistake to stay at the Microtel Inn & Suites in Middletown, NY. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The mattress made a loud creak when I sat on the edge of the bed. The mattress dipped from side to side and top to bottom.
