"OUR ROOMM SMELLED LKE DOGS. THE BREAKFAST WAS AWFUL!"

"We stayed at this hotel based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately our experience did not match the ratings at all. The property felt very worn down overall. There was visible wear and tear throughout the hotel, including the lobby furniture and the room furnishings. One of the biggest disappointments was the gym. "Blythewood plantation is a wonderful historic mansion set in a small quaint excellent town. Lloyd met all of our needs, the room was clean, and all furnishings were correct for the time period that the home was built. The grounds were well maintained, we even got the pleasure of witnessing a gorgeous wedding during our stay!! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to step out of the hustle and bustle of modern times and take a trip to a much simpler day and time!!!!"

"The hot tub was literally a garden tub in the room, the water didn’t get hot at all. The shower would not drain the entire stay, we had to manually hold the lever down each time. The Ac barely blew out, The wifi was out in our room 2/4 days we were there. Some guy cleaned his van right outside our window from 7pm until 3am. I get what you pay for, however it wasn’t cheap by any means. "

"when i arrived i received a nasty hotel room. The tub had not been cleaned and had pubic hairs all over it from someone else.
