"we really enjoyed this trip, jack and his crew were absolutely fantastic and the food was so so good (thank you Chris!). we saw penguins and seals and the hot tub was brilliant at night listening to the owls and birds. due to the rainfall during the night the waterfalls were absolutely epic the best we've ever seen. the cabin was clean and the beds super comfy so we got a great nights sleep. we got the tender out which was great and everyone enjoyed the kayaking and swimming. the whole trip was...

"We stayed in two different rooms as we added a night last minute. The decor was fun; the bathrooms were exquisite; the space spacious. Breakfast was delightful and tasty. Happy hour was a nice touch and allowed us to meet other guests. The front porch had the most spectacular view of the town and water and was enjoyable to hang out on.The hostesses were gracious, helped with reservations, luggage and parking the car. "The room was spacious as was the bathroom. Both were clean. The beds were comfortable. The shared kitchen was clean and had enough supplies. The fridge was clean and safe leaving labeled food. Parking was bad. Limited parking to first in. Tight parking spaces. Property located on a hill. Walking to town took 10-15 minutes on way."

"I stayed here after tramping of routeburn track. I was so exthousted after walking over 15km under the sun, the staff kindly welcomed us. Everything I experienced here was so beautiful and comforting. Fortunatly, the weather was fine so we could view the exquisit view of the mountains and lake. "The hotel (1 bedroom unit) was incredible. Super clean, modern yet felt like home. Furniture incredibly comfortable as was the bed. The towels and sheets all top level too. They have a shuttle that runs you to the center of town on the hour that was never too crowded that they couldn't accomodate. The views were stunning with a large balcony with seating overlooking lake tekaipu."
