Staff 100%. I will begin by saying to the staff who handled taking my order and complying with my request, I am eternally grateful for how they went above and beyond. Now, with the remaining staff? Checkout experience was dismissive when I asked a question about parking procedure. And after dismissing me, I was held up at the exit gate for 10 minutes with my key and ticket not working, with hotel staff taking a long and convoluted way of verifying my identity and allowing me leave, holding up 7 cars behind me. But more importantly, during my visit I had a very important virtual interview day and asked to be left alone throughout the day. And instead, hotel staff bothered me on 3 separate occasions, entered my room before I okayed, banged on the door multiple times, called my room multiple times because they claimed I had not checked out of my room at 12. I had a two night stay. This was the afternoon of my second day. I was not due to leave until the following morning. And, after I finally had ask my interviewer to give me a moment to answer the phone after it kept ringing, when I answered and explained they were mistaken about the reservation, I got an “Oh. Well we’ll tell housekeeping.” No apologies. I will say, when I needed a new room key front desk staff at the time were very kind and helpful. Nevertheless, the conduct by the staff on the whole was enough for me to decide I will likely never stay here in the future. I hope I still get into my program in spite of this.
