"This hotel has recently been " remodeled". The furnishings and rooms look nice.... However, it seems they didn't solve the mold problem and just tried to cover it up with new flooring, etc. We left within a few hours due to the mold, and having a reaction. The room was also very dirty. Hair and dirt in the shower, on the floor, and the sheets were dirty. Lobby man apologized and said he would give us a refund, but never followed through. Also, the indoor pool was like a cold plunge. Water...

"We enjoyed our quick stay at Comfort Inn Blacksburg. Our room was clean and the continental breakfast was tasty! The shower pressure was better than my shower at home! Some of the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had! Did not use the gym, but the gym seems well stocked for a hotel!"

"All in all is was a good place to stay .. a few exceptions.. the HVAC made a load noise when it came on ..I noticed it at first and then my girlfriend said the same thing .. it woke us up a few times.. and we ended up turning it off .. same issue with the doors for other rooms on the hall .. sounds like a small bomb when people leave or enter their rooms ..did not get out room cleaned after the first day but no big deal .."

"So clean I felt safe taking a bath! Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was well stocked, waffles are a must for me! Star deducted for the AC having a smell when turned on, but it didn't cause problems with my allergies so probably just hadn't been used recently. Not a fan of the smell of shampoos provided, the hand soap was unscented though and that was great since my family has scent allergies."

"The bathroom shower did not have shampoo or soap in the dispensers and there’s dirt around the floor the edges
The hallway and the stairwell going down was filthy
The downstairs bathroom and the lobby was filthy and unrepaired drywall, and the trashcan overflowing
Overall, a nice hotel but it’s not being maintained and slowly going downhill
The staff was really nice to deal with, and the bids were comfortable
Just need to do a better job of cleaning and maintaining"
