"My stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Szczecin was exceptional. The location is close to the train and bus terminals, and many restaurants. The old town is a bit of a walk, but the Tourist Information Centre is nearby and from there you can follow the red lines throughout the city's highlights with the map provided. This was extremely helpful as there are no walking tours available. Once complete, I just took a very inexpensive taxi back to the hotel. My only complaint would be the wifi, which was quite slow, even when upgraded. I am on a working/holiday and upload/download speeds are important to me. The onsite restaurant food and service was excellent and affordable, as most of Poland is, as well as the Italian restaurant around the corner in the same complex, but not part of the hotel. The building is fairly new and modern with Moxy Hotel adjacent as well as grocery shopping/pharmacy also in the same building complex if one wants snacks or for other needs. The staff was extremely helpful with all my questions and nothing was too much to ask. I would definitely stay there again."
