"Our room was spacious with a very comfy king bed. The pool area is very nice with lots of palm trees and birds. Two pools, one for kiddies. The property is well kept and although only 15 minutes from the airport, it doesn't feel like an airport hotel. There is an airport shuttle and a full delicious buffet breakfast is included. There is a hotel restaurant, but if you want to go out, there are several restaurants at the mall a few minutes walk from the hotel. All the hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We would definitely return if ever back in San Jose. "

"Very impressed better than what I thought clean rooms, clean hotel. The pool area was very nice. The buffet was actually very good with a lot of things to choose from the on-site restaurants and bar also was a hit very close to everything easy access as well. Highly recommend recommended."

"Check in was the slowest I have ever experienced. Check in at hotels should be quick and easy after a long travel day.. this was the exact opposite! Paid for a king room and was given a room with 2 queen beds and when I showed my reservation was told it’s because they are full!? I reserved it.. why bother to offer room types if you don’t honour them? The bed was the worst I have ever slept on. The springs were poking into our backs and the mattress was so worn out it was awful. It’s ok for a quick stay but I wouldn’t return for more than one night. The shuttle to the airport was nice perk so good for a night before or after a flight "

"Loved the openness of the hotel, the plants, souvenir shop. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was fantastic, clean, and spacious. Only "complaint" was pool could have been warmer and no poolside bartender lol but not a big deal, it is a beautiful pool area. We did get up at 0700 to get in the hottub and it wasn't hot, assumed the hottub was shut off at night. Our room was poolside and we were awakened by a very loud group of guests at the pool about midnight, called the front desk and it was taken care of immediately. I absolutely would stay at the Doubletree in San Jose again and definitely recommend it, especially for the airport shuttle/convenience."
