"Omgoodness! What a lovely property! The hostess was absolutely delightful and the little nice touches made our stay wonderful! Water and beer at no cost upon checkin; a list of local restaurants, bakeries and local favorites amongst others. Wifi was great, refrig was larger than most, mattress and pillows were very comfy! The rooms were very serene and relaxing; loved the colors! We'll definitely be back!"

"We’ve been to Gualala many times over many years, but this was our first stay at Surf Inn. The room was very comfortable and clean, the staff was very welcoming and helpful and the location is perfect."

"By far the greatest travel destination for an anniversary. The view is stunning, the staff are amazing. The jetted tubs and fireplaces in the rooms were perfect. Mid 50 degrees at night and near 70 during the day on Aug 2. Wow. Get the pizza down the hill, you won’t regret it. All in all… perfection."

"Very nice stay. It is an older property so I was not sure what to expect but it appears to have been recently remodeled and has been well maintained. My room had 2 queen beds (I only needed one!). The lady at check-in and check-out was friendly. had made fresh coffee that I had as I was leaving and it was excellent. She had also set out a variety of muffins and biscuits and she said I could take as many as I wanted. I had dinner at their restaurant and it was very good. Only thing was that the...

"The property was fantastic. The ocean view from our room was amazing. We enjoyed the hiking trails and the spectacular views! The food was good and the bar staff were friendly. A larger bar would be nice , but the ability to order a drink and take or to a different location nearby the bar with spectacular views makes up for a smaller bar."
