Michael, Kimberley, and Danielle were excellent hosts. It was easy to upgrade. My room was very clean and comfortable. My purpose was to rest and regroup. Great to have clothing optional and a pool.

I had rented a smaller room. However, the hot water did not work. Michael, the owner, gave me an upgrade without charging me for it. The upgrade was fantastic. Whenever I needed anything, he was always free to help. I especially adored Danielle. She was more than helpful as well as sweet. She even was extra helpful with my service dog Roxie. The place is quiet; unlike the other LGBT restoration next door, the heated pool was larger and more comfortable. I recommend this place. The week I spent allowed me to make up for lost sleep.

If you are looking for a relaxed get-away, The Woods is a good choice. With a heated pool, a mixture of private cabins and rooms surrounding it, and five-minute walks for breakfast, lunch, dinner, groceries and gifts, its an uncomplicated sort of way to enjoy a weekend. There are a bunch of destinations around it like the river, a very scenic drive to the coast, and redwood forests all around.

Friendly place that need an update.

Friendly and welcoming staff. The room was small but ok in size. The bed was terrible, it was so soft that one of us fell out during the night and we are not large. The air condition unit is louder than a jet engine taking off.
