Search Safari Tentalow in Guernsey Private Nature Reserve

Amazing experience. Staff were very hospitable. The game drives were also really cool. Our ranger, Daniel, went above and beyond to ensure that we saw all the animals on our list. Overall great experience.

From check in to check out this was a fabulous stay. Food was amazing and served in the wonderful Boma area. Devin as host was great, incredibly knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora and also great with ideas for local trips. Brilliant morning walk before moving on. We had 2 nights here chilling before headinginto kruger and would recommend it to anyone.

A unique and secluded location set in private reserve; with added advantage of having hosts nearby for attention and customer service. We arrived in the early evening to find a welcome fire/bbq already lit...such a kind gesture! Annie was on-hand to give details of road closures, shopping advice; general comfort chats. The surrounding garden was a delight for bird-lovers; attention to detail in the accommodation perfect combination of lowkey and luxury.

Absolutely incredible stay! Had a phenomenal guide, KK, who was excellent as a spotter, guide and genuinely nice and kind. All the staff were helpful and friendly, a pleasure to be around. First night was a resounding success with a “bush braai” in the boma. Spectacular welcome to the reserve. Thanks to all there for a truly memorable trip!

Shindzela offers the type of safari experience that is sadly dying out, to be replaced by glitzy, costly options that separate visitors from the real bush. Our guide was excellent; calm & professional even when another group was shrieking and whooping (TIP, wild animals prefer quiet). Our tracker was keen-eyed, polite and focussed. The cooking/cleaning staff clearly took pride in their work. I feel Shindzela is excellent value for money and should form a part of many more travellers' trips....

Well designed tents with very comfortable beds. Showers worked fine, solar powered lighting was just lovely. We were there in August - very cold at night (need wholly hats & gloves, especially for the early morning safari). Surrounded by the bush, just on the other side of the fence from the reserve. Staff very friendly. Patrick the safari guide was great - very knowledgable and professional. Highly recommended.
