"I had a really great stay at this hotel. Everything was modern, clean, and comfortable. My room was lovely — very cozy bed, stylish bathroom, and even a fridge, which was super convenient. The whole place feels really well looked after. I stayed in autumn and it was so peaceful. There’s a beautiful little stream behind the hotel, and the pools and outdoor spaces look amazing — perfect for summer. The location is quiet and relaxing, though there aren’t many restaurants nearby. It’s about a 10-minute drive to Quillan. The staff were fantastic — really friendly, welcoming, and professional. The front desk service was excellent, and the waitress at the restaurant was lovely too. Parking on-site was easy and convenient. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the pools and sunshine!"

"We've stayed in dozens of Premiere Classe hotels and they are always great value. This was no exception. It was a bit shabby and the sink in the bathroom had seen better days but the staff were super helpful (and the lady checking us in spoke perfect English). We stayed for a couple of nights as a stopover on a longer trip and we loved the location (right next to a big supermarket, McDonalds and restaurants) and the safe parking. "

"We had a beautiful, large room with a canopy bed. All the furniture was elegant and antique in style. We had a huge bathroom with double sinks. The room came with robe and slippers. Our room was on the second floor reached by a spiral stone staircase. They brought our luggage to the room. Dinner is available and we enjoyed our meal in a stone walled room. Breakfast was served there too. It has a lovely courtyard where they served drinks. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend staying here. "

"Convenient stop close to autoroute, but only short drive into town centre for evening sightseeing. Room extremely small but this to be expected . Very welcoming and helpful receptionist. Good parking. Some traffic noise at rear. "

"They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. It was clearly a scam — no one was there, and it appears they’re just taking money from people. This is unacceptable and very poor service. I strongly advise others not to trust them."

"The Chaumiere is really the only good hotel in this area, decor feels a little set in the 1990's, but facilities are great and the set menu at the restaurant is a real treat. It has a nice casual feel and a very attentive owner/manager"
