All the staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient. Anything extra we asked for was provided immediately. Ben, in particular, was outstanding. We felt valued as customers and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean, the beds very comfortable and all the food was excellent. Being on a busy road, we were worried about noise but it was no problem at all and we slept soundly both nights. There was lots of parking and many blue badge spaces which we really appreciated. There is also a lovely beer garden with fantastic views. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at the Cross Keys Hotel. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the staff, who were incredibly friendly, welcoming and genuinely kind throughout our stay. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and were always happy to help with anything we needed. Our room was comfortable and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. There were a few areas that could be improved, however. The room wasn’t quite as clean as it could have been, it would have benefited from a few more power outlets for charging devices, and the shower could have been more powerful. That said, these were relatively minor issues compared with the overall experience. The peaceful location, combined with the exceptional hospitality from the team, made for a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely return and would happily recommend the Cross Keys Hotel to anyone looking for a warm welcome and a tranquil place to stay.

Stayed for one night whilst touring around North Yorkshire. Whilst the place itself feels a little remote, it is within easy reach of the pretty villages & coastline. The room was clean, quiet & the food was good (had both an evening meal there & breakfast). Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay there again.
