Loved the location, hotel, and cleanliness of the property. The room was good-sized, comfortable, and easy to go outside. The only thing is the valet and bellman system. You have to check in, go back to the valet, give him your room number, then have to wait 20 minutes with my stuff on the sidewalk for a bellman to show up. There are no carts for you to take your own stuff to your room if a bellman is not available. They need to fix this system, as I was not the only one waiting for a long period of time.
Enjoyed the location and quietness of the area. Everything we needed was onsite. Buffet breakfast is definitely worth it.
The mattresses on the beds were not comfortable though. Both of the beds had in our room were awful.
Property and our room was very clean; our gulf view was great. although limited interaction with the staff , they were helpful and nice. pool was excellent as was the beach access. nice to have various restaurants on site. the only real issue we encountered was the proximity of the parking garage to our room with no means available (cart) to get all of our “things “ (suitcases , bags, beach stuff, etc) to the room in an efficient manner. it did appear to be some type of valet/bellhop service but the number of employees appeared limited given the number of guests checking in and out of the hotel plus it’s nice to have an option to do it yourself. the parking garage to the room is a very long way especially when your room is in the second building of rooms. the logistical setup appears to be ok for a couple with limited bags but with a family of four with younger kids and a lot of “stuff “ it is a challenge that needs to be considered.
Beach was very clean and is just a minute walk from the hotel. Hotel is on a quiter stretch of the coast making it rather peaceful. Restaurant was very good (seafood which can be hit and miss elsewhere was very good) and has some good kids options. Real fast was excellent.
Didn't like that drinks were charged to my room after the bartender said she couldn’t find my tab and I was told to pay cash for it. I paid and still see it on my statement and charged my credit card.
Did not appreciate self parking charges per day I think that is absolutely ridiculous when you're already paying to stay in a room and a parking lot is part of the facility that's just not right in my opinion.
The facility was great the service was great everything was exceptionally well but the only other complaint that I would add to that parking is the parking lot is a very long walk with all of your luggage and there were not enough dumb waiters available for the amount of influx of staying customers so people had to wait so on top of having to park yourself and pay for it daily which we weren't made aware of until we checked out because I had canceled valet parking due to the cost per day and then I was surprised on the bill to see that they charge you to park yourself so that to me is not that's not that's just not something that should be charged to to the consumer!
I really loved everything about this resort except for the beds. They were awful. The staff tried to accommodate me by bringing another mattress pad to the room for the bed, but that still did not help. My husband nor myself got any sleep the 4 nights we were there because of the horrible beds. We had a king bed with the bunk beds. Both beds were terrible. This makes me sad because there is nothing else about the resort that I disliked. I would love to go back, but not at the expense of my body aching and lack of sleep.
The food was great at the restaurants, the ocean was steps away, the staff super helpfull, and the pools were fantastic.
Also the state park is right across the street and a great way to spend a few hours of your day. Please get better mattresses.
We loved the property and all of the staff were nice and helpful. The only thing I did not like was I extended our trip 2 days and have to move rooms after being told I would not.
Loved having an adult only pool!!
Valet was amazing and always so quick to get our car. Loved all the things that could be done on the app and conversation through text!
We only stayed one night but the lodge is wonderful we will definitely stay again when going back to gulf shores. Also, pay the extra $6 a day and use valet parking, it’s $15 for self park or $22 for valet and we wished we had chosen valet. We know for next time.
Beautiful resort, love the new pool. The pool side drinks and food are really good, and affordable. Loved the bar area. Very quiet at night which is great in the halls rooms and outside near the pool. Makes it feel very safe.
Only thing was on check in the woman who greeted us was really unfriendly. Pool side bar also girls said they were tired and exhausted. While I understand the busy weekend quests still want to have friendly encounters.
When we arrived there were no carts to haul our luggage to the room. We had to make multiple trips and the room was a pretty far walk from where we unloaded our luggage. The parking lot was a very long walk from the room. Our room was clean and the pool was nice. I’m rating it an overall 3 star because of the parking and not enough luggage carts and too far to have to walk to get to your room. Also, everyday at check-in time it seemed to be total chaos with everyone trying to unload their vehicles and not having enough carts caused the traffic to back up.
I liked that the kitty pool was separate from adult pool and the two restaurants had very good food. I thought the price to rent chairs on the beach was expensive!
There is a long walk from parking lot to rooms unless you use valet parking. The beach access is nice and not crowded. We enjoyed our stay.

Front desk told us we were upgraded due to space limitations but in reality we were put in a meeting room with a Murphy bed. Everything in the room felt damp. No shower curtain in bathroom.
