"For a new property, there’s apparent wear and tear. Bathtub was scuffed and room snowed like marijuana. The sheets had what appeared to be bloody spots and the wash clothe from previous usage was still laying there. All of this made me feel uneasy. The pillows were uncomfortable and the AC was so loud that it was hard to fall asleep. Breakfast and coffee are available in the lobby, but not free compared to other hotels in the area."

"Our stay was very comfortable. Ample hotel parking; there were a few parking spots on the other side of the building. The hot breakfast arrangement every morning had a few choices. The hotel staff was very cooperative and attentive. Cleanliness of the overall property was well-mantained but the housekeeping lacked only one day when making up the bed was undone, wet towel on the bed was not picked up. "I would not stay here again. There is no elevator and have to drag your luggage upstairs. The room smelled musty and the bathroom was dirty with hair in shower and nasty mildew. Our ice bucket had mold in it."

"My first time at the Elm, loved it. Gracious staff, clean, vaulted ceiling spacious room, plenty of lighted, secured parking next to the building, modern electronics plugs, excellent view of the lake as you check in and dine on the 4th floor. I'll be back!"

"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast left a little bit to be desired. The jimmy deans premade sandwiches weren’t great as they were a little soggy. Maybe having the ingredients to make a one more fresh would be better. It’d be nice to have a bar similar to other properties. More notice on when house keeping services are happening. Apparently it’s only every other day."

"Firstly, they advertise that they have breakfast but all you get is Coffee. My biggest issue is the $50 deposit that should be refunded was never refunded. Saw the transaction in my back account and it was pending a $0.00 refund so they are fully aware that they didn’t refund me, just made it look like a refund was coming my way."

"Great value for the money. The beds were comfortable, plenty of choices on tv, pool was nice and the coffee was great!"

"We stayed for 4 days and 4 night. The whole time we asked for the trash and fresh towels daily. And not once did housekeeping pick up our trash. And the only young black man that worked nights was any help. He was always polite and he would give us fresh towels. Other than trash not being picked up or not getting fresh towels. That was okay."

"Feels like home away from home. The first hotel I've gone to that has a full kitchen area, dining area and living room area! Staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. It was a good stay, overall!!"

"The room was big, clean, and the property was nice. The doors to the rooms slam very hard and are super heavy. During the night someone closed their door and it caused the whole wall to shake waking me me up. The AC was either ice cold or the room was warm we couldn't find a happy medium so we kept it ice cold in the room which is good for some. I like the breakfast options they had slightly more than your run-of-the-mill places that have what seems like the minimum. Not the hotels fault but one...
