The location is out of town but was easy/cheap to get tuk tuks and being situated next to the lagoon allowed us to see lots of beautiful birds from our balcony. Beautifully designed, well maintained, with very good restaurants (that appeal to western travelers if they prefer non Sri Lankan food), the staff is friendly and supportive. I highly recommend the spa that is part of a small network of balinese facilities in Sri Lanka. The pool and beach integration is very good with miles of walkable sand in each direction. The sea itself in March was pretty dangerous so I focused on the very nice pool. I highly recommend...
