"We have stayed in many b&b over the years, some very good and some a bit dire. Mill Lodge surpasses anywhere that we have stayed in before. Kelvin is an excellent and enthusiastic host. We had quite a few chats and put the world to rights!! Kelvin is also an excellent chef and we have never had such tasty cooked breakfasts. We are more than happy to recommend Mill Lodge and we shall return in the future, I'm sure."

" A beautiful property, lots of charm. A large room with lovely little details. A nice street in Chepstow too. Lots of amenities & extras, very helpful hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. My only complaint is that I found the mattress was uncomfortable, I could feel the springs in places. "

"Bharat and Anne are very welcoming. They keep Torlands in tip-top condition. It is immaculately clean, and they will tidy your room for you during your stay if you wish. The breakfast is lovely, and there are lots of little things that make you feel welcome or are thoughtful, such as snacks on the tea tray and a torch by the bed. The only downside for me was that the mattress was a little too soft for my back, but others may prefer this, so I would recommend the place."
