"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the top (3rd floor) and right at the end of a corridor so was very quiet. However, if I was to stay again I would probably ask for a room on a lower floor due to needing to carry all the bags upstairs. The rooms were clean and well-presented with fresh bedding and towels and there had been some refurbishment to the bathroom and room however I would suggest that the hotel uses mattress protectors to keep the mattresses fresh. The complimentary refreshment tray was well stocked with Welsh Brew, water and biscuits. We were also lucky to get a space on the car park at the rear of the hotel which was a bonus.
We didn’t stay for breakfast as we ate in the bar the night before and were disappointed at the quality of the food served.
If you are looking for an overnight stay in Bala then I would not hesitate to stop here but would look elsewhere for longer stays."
