Gyor is a beautiful city within a 2 hour drive of Budapest. Definitely worth stopping! This hotel was perfect. The only drawback was that there was not lift which was difficult for my 78 year old mother. We managed and were very impressed with the property, the staff and breakfast the following morning. I would definitely come back to this hotel for a future visit.

Barrok Hotel is in an excellent location close to many restaurants and shopping. It is just off the main square providing for a very quiet stay but very close to all of what the Promenade has to offer. It is very close to the underground Dunakupa parking lot. The hotel is in a walking only area and you cannot drive your car in front of the hotel to drop off luggage or check in. You must park you car in the underground parking lot. The staff was very pleasant and their breakfast was satisfactory. Very good value.

This is our absolute favorite place in Gyor. We keep coming back. The staff goes above and beyond to help you in every way. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a great location. Parking is so close it is not a problem at all not having it at the hotel itself. Can’t wait to come back again! Best staff ever!!

Jag åkte till Györi för att titta på mitt fotbollslag och hade inga förväntningar men kan säga vilken mysig stad. Så även hotellet i barockstil och så rent och fint. Frukosten är så att rekommendera. Personalen är vänlig och hjälpsam. Måste då även nämna Mira som jobbade med på frukosten så vänlig och tillmötesgående. Hon gav hotellet det personliga som är så uppskattat när man reser. Kommer åka tillbaka med garanterad

Zentral gelegenes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal

Sehr freundliches Personal. Matratzen sind etwas hart. Hotel entspricht eher einem 3 Plus Sterne Hotel. Nachts kann es von den umliegenden Restaurants eher etwas laut werden. Der Lärm hört aber um 24h auf. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral in der Innenstadt gelegen.

Das hotel war schwer zu finden, weil das Hotelbild an der Expediaportel entspricht nicht das eigentliches Hotel. üble Manupilation!!! Rezeption war nicht besetzt, war niemand zu erreichen, wir haben ganze Nacht im Auto verbracht und bis 06.00 Uhr gewartet. Zwischen 06.00 Uhr und 12.00 Uhr konnten wir das hotel benutzen

Kleines Boutique-Hotel mit extrem freundlichem Personal. Zentral in der historischen Innenstadt gelegen. Der Hoteleingang ist etwas versteckt in einer kleinen Gasse auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes gelegen. Öffentliches Parkhaus in nur 100 m Entfernung gelegen aber durch eine Einbahnstrassensystem etwas kompliziert es das erste mal zu finden. Apple Maps führte mich bei der Anreise zum Hotel erst einmal in die Fussgängerzone

Nice extra touches

The hotel entrance was a bit hard to find and the entrance is rather unassuming but it is a lovely little place. We actually ended up changing rooms as the heat was not working properly in the first room; I always think it is a sign how complaints are handled that really shows how good the service is. The staff were so accommodating in this case and seemed to want to help any way they could. They also had some nice extra touches such as a little lounge area with tea, coffee and fruit; something you would not expect in such a small place. The breakfast was pretty good

This small hotel is in a fabulous location. Our room was spacious and immaculate— with an outdoor sitting area off it (tho it was too cold while we were there to use). The morning breakfast (which is included) is simple but first rate. And the staff speak English. If we should be in Gyor again, we will use this hotel.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit gutem Service

Anreise Abends um 22:00 Uhr, Empfang war sehr freundlich du zuvorkommend. Nette Bar im Haus die auch noch spät zu einem Getränk einlädt. Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und sauber. Frühstück war gut. Der Service wird in diesem Hause gelebt.

Beautiful hotel close to the Danube River

The hotel is located in the heart of Gyor. As soon as you step out the door, you find cobbled streets for pedestrians only, a great selection of restaurants and outdoor cafes. The beautiful River Danube is a 5 minute walk away, the hotel overlooks Dunakapu Square where music festivals, Farmer's markets and other cultural activities take place regularly.

Tolles Hotel in zentraler Lage. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Tiefgarage 3 Minuten entfernt um EUR 5 pro Nacht. Gutes Frühstück und in den Stockwerken gibt es Erfrischungen zur freien Entnahme.
