"The hotel was probably the best in the local area, however while it was acceptable, several items would not make it an easy choice to return. The hotel was often full of smoke, a good portion of the beds were extremely hard. the Traffic noise from outside was disturbing. the Breakfast was restricted and very average. On the bright side, the reception staff and manager were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were of a decent size. The location on a busy intersection meant that there was not much...

"One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. The property is relaxing and peaceful and the best part for us was the breakfast. Everything was freshly made and they even have fruit that grows on the property. They have free bikes to use but most of the places you want to visit can be a bit of a drive so you can rent a motorbike from them. Cant wait to be back!"

"The family that runs this homestay is very warm and friendly. The room was big (surprising for Vietnam!), modern and clean. The best part for us was the view. The limestone mountains and the river we could see out our windows and door were just so picturesque. The location is away from the main homestay areas (although very close to Hoa Lu and the Trang An Boat Ride entrance) as well as any shops. "This hotel is worth 2.5 stars at most. Our generous evaluation is 4/10. 1- Reception desk did not have my reservation already paid with Hotels.com. They had to take picture (with their phone) of files in my phone. They had rooms available so they asked that I pay upfront. I insisted that they check with whomever responsible. A few hours later things were settled. 2- They did not know that my reservation was for 3 days so each day the room key was deactivated, I cannot get into my room and had to...

Ninh Binh Mountain View Homestay

10/10 Excellent

"Julie and her family, are a delight. The homestay has everything you need including a pool. Julie, is so helpful and spends time getting to know everyone that stays. Will recommend what to do locally and can help you with guides and tours etc. What a great welcoming homestay :), the room was very clean."

Hang Mua Ecolodge Ninh Hoa

10/10 Excellent

"This is a hidden gem, it is nestled in rice paddies where you can ride one of their bikes to market in the early morning and see what village life is like. You are central to head to any of the local attractions but then you return to serenity and swim under the stars in their beautiful pool. The rooms are gorgeous with beautiful bathrooms and I had wonderful mountain views goats roaming them included! The staff were so accomodating with late check out and allowing me to use the amenities after a day exploring before I jumped on a night bus. You are not treated as just another tourist but as part of a village. ❤️"

Nam Cuong Nam Dinh Hotel
