Great access to Haarlem which is lovely. Close ish to Amsterdam central with a bus station just outside the hotel. Easy access to the airport. Amazing staff!!! Some of the most friendly ever experienced, thanks!

Very Kind Service , Bike Leasing is Perfect and the Location of the Hotel is very close to Haarlems City. When arriving by car there are plenty of spots in Front of the Hotel to park. We will visit the Hotel again for sure.

The Van der Valk hotel was a great hotel for our family of 5. We stayed in the family suite with 2 bunk beds and 1 King. Very large and very nice. The toilet was separate from the shower / tub abs sinks which was nice and the beds and pillows were very confortable. Probably the nicest beds and pillows we’ve had our entire Europe trip of 5 countries. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel

Was shocked when we arrived, as this was one of the cheaper hotels available in Haarlem. It was stunning, everything looked brand new and the rooms were very nice. The bar service wasn't brilliant - I think the person was new so we ended up double paying for drinks and getting mostly head in the beer. Otherwise a great stay!

The hotel is great, but is outside of downtown Haarlem, which is the quaint and lovely part of town. Uber cost me around €10 per trip to get to there (or the main station). It’s a great hotel, but if you’re in Haarlem on tourism, planning on traveling to Amsterdam on a daily basis, it’s not a good option.

Superb reception staff, but breakfast staff were a bit aloof and grumpy. Room service staff did not carry out two requests correctly. Beds were poorly made up. No female sanitary bags were provided. Breakfasts were well laid out and gave a lot of choice, but cooked items were not hot, and the plates were cold. The hotel itself was a very pleasant place to stay.

Wir waren das erste mal dort und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Schon beim betreten des Hotels wird man von der großzügigen Eingangshalle, welche modern und stylisch eingerichtet, in Empfang genommen. Generell ist das Hotel sehr modern und stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir hatten einen Comfort-Room als Zimmer und waren positiv überrascht. Das Zimmer hatte insgesamt 28qm und war großzügig geschnitten. Sauber, ordentlich und einladend. Wir hatten kein Frühstück gebucht, konnten aber spontan dazu buchen - der Preis lohnt sich! Große Auswahl, guter Kaffee, es werden nach Wunsch frische Omelettes zubereitet. Für Menschen mit Zöliakie/Glutenunverträglichkeit ist extra auch eine glutenfreie Ecke eingerichtet worden. Abgepackte Brötchen, Muffins und Pancakes stehen zur Auswahl. Große Empfehlung!
