"Great hotel and it had great AC!!! We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant Luminaire the night we stayed. I'd recommend eating outside patio vs inside. We had a few drinks before our reservations out on the patio. Staff was way more responsive on the patio vs inside. We waited about 15 minutes inside before we were ever approached by waitstaff and there were only 3-4 tables occupied. The manager inside was a bit uppity regarding having sunglasses on when the evening sun was glaring in our eyes and it was really bright. Apparently sunglasses are against the dress code. We have no problem complying with a dress code, however he was very selective on who he enforced it on. Enforce for all guests or let it go - but that's just my opinion. On a positive note, the view was amazing and as the sun was going down the sunset was amazing."

"Beautiful property. Some of the nicest employees I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with at a hotel. Amazing amenities, the restaurant at the sister hotel connected was so very good. Very cool and sexy vibe, really loved it. Bought the surprise package for my sisters birthday and they did us perfect, it was so special. They even gave her a free upgraded room. It was just the perfect place, nice area and quieter than other spots in Amsterdam but still so centrally located to all the public transport. Such a special place. If I ever come back to Amsterdam I will not look anywhere else but this hotel to book."

"Coming from NY, I’ve stayed in a lot of fancy hotels, but I can honestly say I was quite impressed with this hotel. Everything about it was amazing; the staffs were spectacular, the room (omg) was so chilled that I felt like I was home. Overall it was just a great experience, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else when in Amsterdam."
