"I thought that it was nearer to shops and restaurants and in town even though I knew it was a short distance from the airport. I received a quick response when I texted the staff for information about a taxi service to the airport. Good complimentary coffee and kitchen if you want to bring in food ."

"The family room was perfect for the 4 of us! The hosts were all so helpful and had great senses of humor, we really felt welcome. The breakfast was quaint, the warm bread and fresh fruit delicious. The hotel was fully booked but we didn’t hear our neighbors. It was just a short drive to the airport after a very calm and peaceful stay."

"Great location for taking the international flights. It’s clean and welcoming. The self check in and checkout are convenient. Just the key knobs for the shared bathrooms are too old. It’s easily for kids or even adults to lock themselves in the bathroom and have to call for help to open the door from outside."

"The room is very small. There was a door to the balcony that was not locking and is major security concern. The toilet door knob was broken. The room was on ground floor and there is no lift to carry bags down."

Das kenne ich von Airport-Hotels anders. So war dann ab 1:30 Uhr Schlafen möglich - wenn ich morgens um 5 Uhr wieder raus muss zum Flieger, ist das ein teures Nickerchen mit Dusche."

"The check in process was very simple and easy, despite no staff being there due to our late check in. The room was very clean and well maintained."

"I had no tv and was asked if I wanted to move my room I declined as I had an injiury and did not want to repack and move it all. The telephone did not work at all as we tried numerous times to call a taxi or call the hotel. When we did see staff they were great."

"Our flight was cancelled. We selected this place due to the high reviews and proximity to the airport. The venue has no reception desk. When you arrive, you use a lockbox to retrieve your key. We had no WiFi, so we could not retrieve the code to the lockbox. It was about 40 degrees out and raining and nowhere to seek shelter. Fortunately, an employee was cleaning rooms. "This was a very basic bare bones accommodation. The cabin was fairly small but the furnishings, floors, fixtures were all old, musty and smelly. Bathroom in particular was smelling quite badly 😢 On the positive side, the location of the cabin was great and quite close to Keflavik airport.
