Good area, rooms were dirty and they play a very load speaker outside the hotel late at night and early morning easily heard making it very hard to sleep

It was good stay for me and my wife. Room and restroom were clean and bed was comfortable with clean covers. Sea view room has really nice view in the room and the terras and the hotel owner was so kind. He smiled everytime he saw us and tried to help us for everything we needed. He arranged 1 day tour and returning bus for us with cheap price, and the quality of those services were very good. It's not fancy modern hotel but clean enough, good view, good location, with very kind staffs and owner.

It was horrível I booked for 7 nights and left in the second .. there are bugs and cockroach all over the place and inside the room the bathroom is disgusting the whole place is no th ong like the pictures . Rats downstairs seriously it was a nightmare

Decent

Very good location, beautiful sea views. Hotel is pretty basic (like most of the hotels in the area I guess), the bed in the double room was comfy. The place has an elevator so you don't have to climb the stairs (still won't completely suit people with disabilities because it has a few quite steep stairs at the entrance). Don't expect anything extraordinary from the staff. Overall good experience, would stay there again.

DONT STAY HERE!!!

This hotel was bad. It had ants all over the floor. I bet I killed over 100 of them and they were still there. I even killed big roaches in the room. The drinking glass given was dirty plastic and non usable, at least from my perspective. The Island itself isn't anything exciting and certainly doesn't require more than a day to see. Even hiking it and going to the gun turret and such don't require more than a day. So if you -MUST- see Cat Ba Island come in early and get out late and don't stay the night. There were wires hanging out of the wall outside my room even. This is the first hotel I had to go look for a way out incase in caught on fire. The door lock was just like the one in an American Bathroom. It was CHEESY to say the least. Really... I am a world traveler and been all over the place and this is the worst room I have stayed in in all my years. Avoid this.
