"This is a classic, old hotel with fabulous grounds and gardens. The traditional hot spring baths were great. A traditional Japanese breakfast is available and recommended. Transportation can be a challenge as the roads get congested during busy periods."

"The hotel is overall great. The food was not the best but still good. We loved the onsens and the rooms. It was a relaxing stay and the location is pretty convenient because it’s just in front of the Togendai station where the highway bus goes directly to Tokyo."
