"The location is good, close to the funicular station. Staff is very polite and helpful. The room was clean and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Sleeping on futons on tatami floor was fun and no problem. And wearing Yukata feels special and Japanese."

"We booked one of the condo units and loved it. Very spacious. Sleeping room for 4 people without feeling crowded. Convenient espresso machine in the building hallway and the hotel had a social gathering every evening in the hotel lounge/library with free snacks. We booked with breakfast included and the buffet style offerings were fantastic, with numerous options, both Japanese and Western. The hotel was a short walk from Gora train station, which was super convenient. The on-site onzen was also great. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay."

"Hotel is new & beautiful. Compound is lovely with a garden to walk. Breakfast & dinner offers a good spread with free flow of wine & beer. We stayed for 3 nights, would help if they could change some of the dishes daily. Can get boring eating the same spread over 3 days. Room was compact but comfortable. No bathtub. Will pick a bigger room next time. Location is great. Local bus stop right in front of hotel. Very convenient. Do note that u may not be allowed to board if your luggage is big & bulky. Seek help from the hotel’s free shuttle service instead."
